Product Details

The Energic ICS-500K1KFD is a modular 500kW energy storage power cube designed for commercial and industrial energy storage and EV charging energy-storage applications.

The system supports up to four 215kWh IBS215K1KC battery cubes, providing up to 860kWh of battery energy capacity in a single power-cube configuration. Multiple ICS systems can also operate in parallel, reaching up to 2MW / 3.44MWh of combined power and energy capacity.

Its modular architecture integrates power conversion, PV interfaces, battery interfaces, EMS, metering and protection into a compact outdoor cabinet, making it suitable for applications where space, scalability and flexible energy management are important.

Battery Integration & System Configuration The ICS-500K1KFD is designed to work with the IBS215K1KC 215kWh battery cube. A single power cube can connect 1–4 × 215kWh battery cubes: • ICS125K1KR: 125kW power / 215kWh battery capacity • ICS250K1KR: 250kW power / 430kWh battery capacity • ICS375K1KR: 375kW power / 645kWh battery capacity • ICS500K1KR: 500kW power / 860kWh battery capacity

Power Conversion System & Solar + Storage Integration Power conversion uses eight 62.5kVA non-isolated BEG1K0110G power inverters (500kVA total AC output) and isolated CEG1K0100G 30kW MPPT DC/DC converters. Up to four PV channels provide maximum 120kWp PV access, seamlessly combining solar generation, battery energy storage, and EV charging infrastructure under EMS control.

Intelligent Energy Management & EV Charging BESS The ICS-500K1KFD is specifically designed for EV charging energy-storage applications, supporting high-power EV charging loads while reducing grid power requirements and supporting transformer power distribution. Key strategies include: • Peak-Valley Energy Management: Charge during off-peak periods and discharge during peak hours for cost reduction. • Demand-Side Management & Peak Load Shifting: Reduce peak demand charges and utilize stored energy during peak hours. • Dynamic Power Expansion: Provide dynamic power for intermittent high-power EV loads to relieve grid constraints. • Backup Power: Optional STS configuration provides 20ms switching time, 99.5% efficiency, up to 500kW backup power, and optional bypass/off-grid functionality.

Metering, Electrical Protection & Environmental Specs Features bi-directional AC energy metering at AC grid main side, backup load side, and optional station-transformer entry side. Electrical safety includes countercurrent protection and insulation detection for each battery channel, each PV channel, +/PE, and -/PE. HMI includes a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, 5 status LEDs, emergency stop, battery fire-alarm light/beeper, and multi-language support. Cabinet protection: IP54, 1000 × 2200 × 1150mm, 800kg weight including full power modules.
