The Energic EXP480K6-FD is a 480kW ultra-high-power DC fast EV charger designed for high-throughput commercial, public, fleet, highway, and large-scale EV charging applications.
It provides up to 480kW DC output, 150Vdc–1000Vdc output voltage, and maximum output current of up to 1200A at 400V. The charger uses 12 × 40kW/1000V power modules and achieves maximum system efficiency above 97%.
The EXP480K6-FD features an Intelligent Power Switching Matrix that dynamically allocates power modules between charging connectors in 120kW power steps. An optional VPF configuration provides flexible power output from 40kW to 480kW.
The charger supports CCS2, CCS1, NACS, and GBT charging connectors with a two-connector configuration. It also supports OCPP 1.6J, firmware upgrade capability to OCPP 2.0x, OTA updates, Plug & Charge, smart charging, power management, LAN, and LTE connectivity.
The charger uses forced-air cooling and provides NEMA 3R / IP55 / IK10 protection. It operates from -30°C to +70°C, with full power output up to 50°C and power derating above 50°C.
