The Energic EXP180K4-LD is a 180kW liquid-cooled DC fast EV charger designed for high-power commercial, public, fleet, and demanding EV charging applications.
It delivers up to 180kW DC output with a 150Vdc–1000Vdc output voltage range and maximum output currents of 600A at 300V, 360A at 500V, and 180A at 1000V.
Unlike conventional air-cooled charging systems, the EXP180K4-LD uses liquid cooling with six 30kW/1000V liquid-cooled power modules. The system provides maximum efficiency above 95% at rated input and output.
The charger features an Intelligent Power Switching Matrix that dynamically allocates power modules between charging connectors to maximize power utilization. Optional CoolRing™ power transfer can enable power transfer between two chargers, allowing each charging connector to access the total charging power.
The EXP180K4-LD supports CCS2, CCS1, NACS, GBT, and CHAdeMO charging standards. It also supports OCPP 1.6J with firmware upgrade capability to OCPP 2.0x, OTA updates, Plug & Charge, smart charging, power management, LAN, and LTE connectivity.
With NEMA 3R / IP65 / IK10 protection and an operating temperature range of -30°C to +65°C, the EXP180K4-LD is designed for demanding charging environments. Full power output is available up to 50°C with power derating above 50°C.
