Product Details

The Energic ICB-218KWh-241KWh is a modular commercial and industrial battery energy storage system (BESS) available in 218kWh and 241kWh energy-storage configurations.

The system is designed for applications requiring energy storage, peak-load management, backup power and renewable-energy integration.

Depending on the selected configuration, the system provides AC rated power from 120kW to 218kW, with maximum AC power of up to 250kW.

The ICB platform also supports optional solar PV integration, on-grid/off-grid operation, parallel system expansion and an optional 250kVA/500kVA STS cabinet for rapid power transfer.

Battery Energy Storage Configurations The ICB platform provides two principal battery capacity configurations: • 218kWh Configuration: 218kWh battery capacity, higher-power energy-storage architecture, primary configuration supports 1P battery charging/discharging, available with 0kW PV or 30kW PV. • 241kWh Configuration: 241kWh battery capacity, 0.5P battery charging/discharging power ratio, available with 0kW PV, 30kW PV or 60kW PV depending on configuration.

Solar PV Integration The ICB platform supports optional solar PV integration depending on configuration: • 218kWh models: 0kW PV or 30kW PV • 241kWh models: 0kW PV, 30kW PV, or 60kW PV Combines solar generation with battery storage for commercial and industrial energy-management applications.

On-Grid & Off-Grid Operation The optional STS cabinet enables automatic or manual on-grid/off-grid operation. Supported functions include automatic on-grid/off-grid switching, manual control, isolated three-phase and neutral-line operation, optional bypass/off-grid function, anti-reverse protection, 20ms STS switching time, and 99.5% STS efficiency.

Parallel Energy Storage Configuration The ICB platform supports parallel operation for future capacity expansion. For on-grid configurations, up to 5 systems can be connected in parallel (with an additional AC cabinet where specified), reaching up to 1.09MW / 1.09MWh for 218kWh models and up to 1.205MW / 1.205MWh for 241kWh models. Off-grid configurations can also be combined with an STS cabinet to provide increased power and energy capacity.

Energy Management System & Metering Includes an IMMU2 EMS controller with internal EMS algorithms and data-management functionality. Remote EMS connectivity via Ethernet/TCP IP, WebSocket + JSON, MQTT + JSON, Modbus, IEC 104, IEC 61850; hardware interfaces via 4G, Wi-Fi, WLAN, LAN. Supports bi-directional AC energy metering at AC grid main side, optional backup-load side, and optional station-transformer entry side.

Electrical Isolation & Safety Architecture Provides non-isolation for PCS and isolation for PV DCDC. Insulation detection is provided for each battery channel, each PV channel, +/PE, and -/PE. Safety features include completely submerged aerosol fire-extinguishing system, water-fire interface, optional pack-level active perfluorohexanone firefighting, smoke detection, combustible-gas detection, water/temperature/humidity/door monitoring, explosion-proof board, fire-propagation-resistant structure, and emergency fan.

HMI, Protection & Environment HMI includes a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, 5 status LEDs, emergency stop, battery fire-alarm light/beeper, English by default with multi-language support. Protection ratings: IP67 (Battery Pack), IP55 (Cabinet), EMC/EMI compliance IEC 61000-6-2/-4. Liquid cooling specifies battery cell temperature differences of ≤3°C. Dimensions: 1100 × 2400 × 1350mm. Weight: <2,800kg.
